HYVÄT KUVAT AUTUMN 2025

Hyvät Kuvat is a student union movie club. Hyvät Kuvat screens one film on Thursdays in Kino Kuvakukko movie theatre (Vuorikatu 27, Kuopio). Shows start at 17:30.

If you are an EXCHANGE STUDENT (not a degree student) and a member of Student Union (e.g. you have paid the student union membership fee), you can get your movie card FOR FREE from the SU OFFICE at Lukema/Studentia during its opening hours. There is only a limited amount (50) of free cards, so be quick! Otherwise the movie card costs 25 € (students/ unemployed/ pensioners), normally 30 € (payment by cash/ card or using kide.app). Movie cards are also sold in Kino Kuvakukko movie theatre 1/2 hour before our every show (e.g. starting 11th of September at 17:00).

The movie card grants access to all screenings (11 movies) during he season. Hold out your movie card to the staff at the door. Movie cards are PERSONAL. All the films are spoken in their original language and include subtitles in Finnish and Swedish.
